Preparation for the TELC exam "German for physicians" (TELC German B2-C1 medicine):

The course requires prior knowledge on B1 level and gradually takes you to C1 level. Accompanying general-language education you will learn

• to communicate with your colleagues, in particular regarding the fields of scheduling, organisation, execution and documentation,

• to advise, instruct and support patients,

• to explain emergency measures,

• to use a comprehensive technical vocabulary,

• to write medical and surgery reports,

• to understand working instructions and to write progress reports,

• to conduct conversations with patients, colleagues and superiors,

• to cope with medical everyday situations.

At the end of the course you will be able to take the patient communication test, which documents your didactic success. The course prepares you both for the daily routine in hospital and the work with patients. By the way, the TELC exam German B2-C1 medicine is generally accepted as a proof of satisfactory language skills for the medical licence.
